Ich lese sehr gerne gemeinsam mit meinem Sohn Bücher, die viele Bilder haben und neben einer tollen Story auch etwas fürs Auge sind!

Just as humorous and witty as the first book, I thoroughly enjoyed my journey back to Chroma with Peanut, Little Bit and Rockwell. Die Story selbst ist spannend, fesselnd, sehr fantasievoll, die Charaktere einfach rundum liebenswert (bis auf die Bösen, versteht sich) und herrlich detailliert beschrieben. An wenigen Stellen fand ich die Schrift etwas zu dunkel für die dazugehörigen Bilder (oder umgekehrt), ansonsten harmonierten Bild- und Textebene toll miteinander.BOOK OF THE MONTH - the much awaited latest installment in this popular diary-style series for ages 7+.

You guys were so fab and Dawn was such a lovely presence in the schools - I will absolutely be in touch next time I'm in your neck of the woods. Little Bit is without a doubt my favourite character and I am looking forward to seeing what the trio get up to next!Then again, what might Peanut’s continued detective work add to the Resistance knowledge and process? My 10 year old daughter is not a massive reader at all but when she read the first book of Peanut Jones, she could not put it down and was completely engrossed in it. When Peanut goes to Venice to save her Mum, a final showdown starts in which Peanut questions everything.

Ein kleiner Cliffhanger findet sich auch diesmal am Ende, sodass wir kaum erwarten können weiterzulesen.Bronnie is so lovely with the boys and we also felt that having a man enthusing about the books set a great example. Speaking of drawings, the artwork throughout is incredible and I love all the references to famous works of art!

I love lots about this series, but my big issue with it is that the girls are just so mean to Rockwell. Mit dieser Reihe rund um Peanut-Jones ist uns ein solcher Treffer gelungen und wir sind sehr froh diese fantasievolle Kinderbuchreihe entdeckt zu haben! I have even talked the head into a little revamp of the library so that we can display them properly! It carries on from the first book seamlessly and ended with me wishing the next book wasn't so far away!This is a used book - there is no escaping the fact it has been read by someone else and it will show signs of wear and previous use.
