About this deal

If you’ve read Kingdom of Ash, you will immediately guess why Rhys is behaving the way he does, but his aggressive protectiveness tips over into outright cruelty here, both toward his mate and toward Nesta. She is offered a chance to train with the Night Court’s warriors, led by Cassian, the Illyrian general and her former enemy-turned-ally. Your fellow ACOTAR series fan, a friend who's known for their fiery personality, the friend you'd do anything for, or the person in your life who lives for a good we're-in-love-but-we-won't-admit-it-to-ourselves-until-the-reader-is-frustrated story. Based on the ending of HOSAB (check out my House of Sky and Breath review to learn more), I find it very hard to believe that we’re wrapping up with House of Flame and Shadow, though no more information is available about what lies ahead for the series. Feyre learns that he is a High Lord of Prythian, and eventually realizes that what she has previously learnt about the dangerous faerie world is false.

She wasn’t ready to play nice, to act like everything was fine, to be comfortable with her own new skin.At the same time, I found myself disappointed with the Inner Circle *gasp* I know, I was sad about it too.

The story follows the journey of Nesta Archeron, who is dealing with the aftermath of the war and struggling with the darkness inside her. It is decided Azriel, Cassian and Nesta will enter the Bog of Oorid tomorrow to find the Mask, one of three Trove items. Theme/Message: anyone who has any experience with mental health issues, whether personal or second-hand, will find something to relate to in this novel. Maas released the final book of her A Court of Thorns and Roses trilogy about Feyre Archeron and three since its first spinoff, A Court of Frost and Starlight. Nesta has stated that Gwyn's beauty could even rival that of Mor and Merrill especially when she is radiating joy.THEN in fey world went on whole refusing to train/ help others but demanding they protect ONE of her sisters? The Archeron sister noticed her clipped wings, to which Emerie explained and Nesta offered her condolences for her wings. During their conversations, Cassian, while happy for Rhys and Feyre, can’t help also wanting that relationship with someone. She considered at this point telling people of the abuse she and her mother endured at his hands but ultimately decided not to because she thought they wouldn't believe her as they had turned a blind eye to her clipping.
