About this deal

Want to see this stuff paired with the BMPCC 6k & DJIs new 3d autofocus system. I have 3 BMPCC6ks kitted out with all the Tilta gear, the DJI gear and an Aston Martin camera car myself. I am down for joint ventures and sponsorships in the NYC area. Nice videos guys! My favorite part of the RS 2 is the screen. You truly do not need the app to adjust any parameters of the gimbal, and everything can be done on the gimbal itself, which is nice when doing it on the run. While the app allows for an easier/more visible interface, with this new touchscreen LCD, you don’t actually need it at all (unlike previous generations), giving you the freedom to get up and running in whatever mode you need for those last-second shots. You can save space, time, and battery life by not using the smartphone app. Ergonomics & Design Through Tilta and DJI’s integrated collaboration, we are providing more robust operating system for the RS2 series. Customize your gimbal for productions of all levels with this new variety of accessories for the ultimate camera rig. New* 3D Focus System: upgrading the DJI Ronin-S focus wheel and adding ToF sensors for precise autofocusing even when using manual lenses and/or shooting in low light environments. This intelligent upgrade makes a world of difference, giving you exceptional autofocus in demanding shooting environments.

Tap the "Gimbal Calibration" icon on the touchscreen of the gimbal and enable the SuperSmooth mode on the menu. After enabling SuperSmooth, tap to perform gimbal calibration for better stabilization. Could anyone please give me the pin out for the Nucleus M connectors? Been trying for a month.. No reply anywhere from Tilta!.. Sport mode: Press and hold the M button to enter Sport mode, and then release the button to exit the mode. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/eca7d240d47724218b922bd059559dca5fdbd0fc77ed707b490b11dcfc7c428a.jpgThe gimbal is reportedly able to support a payload of up to 10lbs for up to 12 hours (if properly balanced). For the majority of our testing, the team used the Canon EOS R or R6 and the 24-105mm or the 14mm. This combo doesn’t come close to maxing out its motors, but no matter what we put on it, the motors gave no lag or resistance/strain. Unless you’re getting into big cinema rigs, the Ronin RS 2 seems capable of handling any dslr or mirrorless combo you can throw at it. Setup Is Easy

As I mentioned previously, the smaller size and lighter weight made it easier to maintain stamina over a long day of shooting 4-6 hours at a time. On paper, the size and weight difference doesn’t seem like much, but over the course of a full day of shooting the reduced payload was definitely noticeable and a welcome update! However, while the design looks great, the friction caused by the carbon fibre when trying to adjust the balance just annoyed me, more so than just a niggle. What makes this feature so incredible is that with ForceMobile, a feature of the Ronin App, you can control the gimbal by moving your mobile. There is a ton of good information here. One extra note is to disable selfie mode to prevent accidentally activating it if you accidentally tap the trigger one too many times. You’ll also want to enable silent mode to prevent any notification noises from being played—always a good call. To be honest, it’s probably best to just shut off all the modes you aren’t planning on using. Not having access to this type of set-up I couldn’t test it but it looks impressive. When will the advanced ring grip be out and can the focus wheel control the focus motor of the RS2 Pro Kit? Ok what’s the news guys? Mid November no news on price etc? Getting my RS2 in like 2 days and looking into rig setup.

If DJI RS 2 has a camera attached and is powered on while updating the firmware, make sure to protect the camera and lens as the motors will power off during the update.

Tested in a closed environment in favorable conditions and an unobstructed wireless signal using the FCC and SRRC standard (max 100 m using the CE standard). Actual results may vary. When DJI RS 2 is connected to RavenEye Image Transmission System, photos and videos are saved in two ways: To explore and expand the various ways of operating RS 2 and RSC 2, we are excited to introduce the Tilta Ecosystem for DJI RS 2.

RavenEye is the stand out feature of the Combo kit that I tested, it’s truly amazing, and the signal is just about as robust as they come. Another feature that stands out is that the power grip containing the battery, can be removed and the gimbal can be connected by the RSA/NATO connectors. The most significant update aside from the dramatic design change is the payload which has increased from 3.6kg to 4.5kg. It’s also lighter than the Ronin-S coming in at 1kg 0.81kg lighter.Like the DJI RS 2, the RSC 2 also benefits from a new 1-inch OLED display, which shows camera data and lets you change settings. This particularly stood out in our hands-on DJI RSC 2 review, which describes it as "a simple but transformative addition". Performance-wise the DJI RS 2 builds on the performance of the Ronin-S but doesn’t feel like a direct upgrade. The two feel very different in use, and for the work I do, I have to say I still prefer the size and usability of the Ronin-S over the RS 2. Slotting all the parts together and everything fits snuggly without issue, the precision and accuracy of the moulding, machining and design shows.
