About this deal

A nice touch is that the nose hair trimmer comes with a protective cap. A simple pull and it comes right off:

While the vacuum worked fine for ear and nose hairs, the majority of beard and eyebrow trimmings still fell to the sink below. The mirror is quite small and unless you find yourself travelling to remote destinations, likely won’t be of much use to you. For the man whose facial hair is more labyrinthian than clear-cut, one singular shaving implement may not be the best solution. Enter Wahl's 10-in-1 Aqua Blade, which would rather suffer from overkill than let that one stray nose hair survive your morning grooming routine.

You can’t really avoid it, all electric nose hair trimmers have that annoying buzzing sound coming from the motor. Unless you choose a battery free nose hair trimmer it’s just something that you will have to put up with. At first I was puzzled as to why the mirror was blurry but it turns out there is a plastic film on top, preventing it from being scratched. With the film removed, the mirror is clear and reflective. You know how to use a nose trimmer, but making sure it's clean and sanitised is just as important. To do this, turn off the trimmer and remove any hair that's been collected. Most trimmers will have a compartment that twists off, so make sure you dispose of any hair that's been collected in there too and give your trimmer a rinse under hot running water. What we like: Lots of extra functionality thanks to different attachments | Reasonably priced for the features you're getting Air is drawn into the trimmer head, through a filter and out the vents in the side of the nose hair trimmer.

After testing 19 other nose hair trimmers we can say without a doubt that the Panasonic ER-GN30-K is the best on the market. Fortunately the buzz from the ER-GN30-K is fairly low pitched, if the sound from electric shavers don’t annoy you then this definitely won’t. Size So why three stars? Where downsides are concerned, there are a few and it all comes down to the shape, maintenance and design. I find the ER430 to be overly heavy to hold if I take a fancy to try using the trimmer on other hairy areas like eye brows or side burns on my face. Although Panasonic claim that this is purely a nose and ear hair trimmer, the design alone of its pen style blade can remove hair precisely and cleanly. It is in use of removing ear hair (I only have a little) that I find the design to be bulky and heavy (I.e its secondary use that Panasonic claim this product is designed for). The Panasonic weighs nigh of 117grams compared to the 58grams of the Babyliss and 76grams with the Philips NT9110 - and all of those models are with single AA batteries fitted. But I soon developed a new hair-related problem that negatively affected my appearance and self-confidence, one that required immediate attention. Washable under the tap and bundled complete with a brush, the Schon is easy to keep clean, and with an all-metal build, it’s robust too.
