About this deal

Urea makes up about 7% of NMFs next to other things such as amino acids (40%), PCA (12%) or Lactate (12%). Harnessing the powerful rejuvenating and properties of sea marine algae and giant sea kelp, Marine Miracle Crème rapidly boosts cell renewal and is deeply nourishing, restoring hydration to the skin barrier, minimising fine, lines and wrinkles for ultimate skin transformative results. I had heard of Transformulas well before I received some of their skincare to review, so I was super excited to see if it lived up to the hype!

Rich in marine algae, giant sea kelp and sea salt extracts renowned for their transformative skin enhancing properties, after one use, the results speak for themselves and with continued use, skin looks and feels firmer, fine lines and wrinkles are minimised, and skin is more cushioned and softened. The yeast extract itself is a silky clear liquid that has some great moisturizing, skin protecting and film-forming properties on the skin.As for skincare, it makes the skin silky smooth, creates a subtle gloss and forms a protective barrier (aka occlusive). In terms of anti-aging, it's probably not as effective as pure Ascorbic Acid, but it's totally worth a try. I don’t have extremely dark circles under my eyes but the colour hasn’t changed and I haven’t notice any decrease in fine lines or wrinkles. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

Some say that it feels incredible using it day or night, and that it really hydrates the face without it feeling oily. I was worried (probably overly so) about light discolouration I am experiencing - potentially hormone or medication based. Just one application of this super luxurious cream enhances skin, so it’s smoother and firmer with a noticeable, more-cushioned effect. NMFs are important components that help the skin to hold onto water and keep it plump, elastic and hydrated. It is oil-soluble which means it is more likely to penetrate the skin compared to the pure form of vitamin C (which is water-soluble), but it is less bio-available and is way less effective in stimulating collagen and reducing wrinkles compared to the pure form of vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) and its other derivatives (for example, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate). It’s a nice ingredient that just feels good on the skin, is super well tolerated by every skin type and easy to formulate with. The generic term for nice smelling stuff put into cosmetic products so that the end product also smells nice. At the same time, this vitamin C derivative has been shown in studies to be effective in reducing acne, blemishes and clogged pores. I take supplements, I never wear my makeup to bed, and I invest in a skincare regime that is more than just whacking on a cream with the hopes it will be the right type for my skins needs.
