About this deal

Her storytelling technique and subtle metaphors summon colour that flows as a thread between a skilled weaver’s hands; beautiful enough to be worthy of an old epic yet simple enough to not overwhelm. From the Sunday Times Bestselling author of Realm Breaker and the multi-million copy selling Red Queen series. I also completely agree with Dom that the last thing Corayne needs to do is fall in love and get herself killed trying to save someone when she’s the key to saving the world. Hand-crafted by Helgar, master smith of Skyhold, this axe should surpass any steel found on Azeroth.

But perilous lands await her and the companions, and they face assassins, otherworldly beasts, and tempestuous seas all as they rally a divided Ward to fight behind them. Sadly, Blade Breaker made me cringe, laugh for the wrong reasons, and question why I spent both time and money on this novel. And Taristan, a man of sharp edges, born of suffering, all brute force and vengeance and honed rage, contained and ready to explode in service of a single path. Comment by FaliciaNot sure if its been mentioned here, but i recently got the green recolour of my Prot artifact shield, and in checking my other two specs it has unlocked the green version of this axe, and the blue verson of the fury ones. This is also very much because they don’t have POVs, but also because Aveyard gives them very little to do. I much prefer this to red Queen now, however the two are very different, liking red Queen deffinatly does not mean you will like this series. Victoria Aveyard was born and raised in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, a small town known only for the worst traffic rotary in the continental United States.

The world is rich and built with deep care; the characters are complex and flawed; the story is filled with the kind of sweeping scale that fantasy does best. Corayne and her mismatched crew are reeling from the battle to close the Spindle as they observe dead Galland soldiers and sea serpents surrounding them. Set in a sprawling world of warring empires and hair-raising magic that any reader would want to get lost in. Se il primo volume mi aveva (abbastanza) stuzzicata, questo secondo si è rivelato decisamente meglio, con bei capitoli di viaggio, ma anche di guerra/assedio e di battaglia. It was a solid “ok”, but you know you’re disappointed in a book when you’re relieved it’s over so you can move onto something else.Comment by DreycraftThis was up on Stormrage-US today, and I can confirm that they lowered the difficulty tremendously considering I was reading some comments saying how difficult Saurfang was. The mysterious Jydi witch, Valtik, is the grandmother (although it would be a grave mistake to assume she’s weak and frail). Dom: This bloodstained nursemaid, this brooding, sympathetic immortal, surprises me every time he digs a little deeper into my heart. Or Sigil, the proud, untamable, casually fierce warrior who is unabashed in confronting anyone with her thoughts or steel. And she does, bc the contrast of her bitter irrelevance and selfish lack of mercy with her hidden values and steadfast loyalty is one of the most precious things in this entire series.
