About this deal

Information about whether there is a possibility for wall mounting according to the VESA Mounting Interface Standard (MIS). It offers impressive gaming performance because it has a high 144Hz refresh rate with VRR support, the response time is incredible, and input lag is extremely low. This subreddit is for News, Reviews, or high quality discussions related to Monitors and Display Technologies.

The LG 27GN850-B is a mid-range gaming monitor released in 2020, intending to provide innovative features to gamers. I always heard people say that the Dell has good colors for a TN panel but compared to an IPS panel its flaws are apparent. The storage temperature shows the range from a minimum to a maximum temperature, within which storing of the display is considered to be safe.

It supports Adaptive Sync and is compatible with both FreeSync and G-SYNC to reduce screen tearing, and the input lag is also incredibly low. It has an incredible response time whether you're gaming at its native 144Hz refresh rate or 60Hz, and the input lag is incredibly low. However, the LG supports HDR10, which the MSI doesn't, and it displays a wide color gamut, so it's a decent choice for HDR gaming. The LG 27GN850-B/27GN880-B is better for most uses than the LG 27GN750-B, but they have a few different features. To me the GL83A looks nice and balanced, while the GN850 definitely has those overly saturated colors.

It has an IPS panel with wide viewing angles, so the image remains accurate when viewing from the side. The Dell has a max refresh rate of 165Hz, as opposed to the LG's 144Hz, and this results in a slightly quicker response time.Added tests for Console Compatibility and macOS compatibility and made minor changes to other tests, which you can see in our Changelog. Additionally, the LG 27GP850-B has a USB hub and a black frame insertion feature, which reduces the appearance of blur in some situations, but both features are not there on the LG 27GN850-B (this review). LG 27GN850 UltraGear Gaming Monitor 27" QuadHD Nano IPS 1ms HDR, 2560x1440, G-Sync Compatible e AMD FreeSync 144 Hz, HDMI 2. In spite of paying attention and showing great sensitivity when providing the information, we can not guarantee 100% accuracy.

Using a fixed 144Hz signal results in screen flickering to the point where it's unusable, so it's better to enable VRR, which you can use up to 120Hz. To me though the extra saturation looked off an unnatural more often than when it look nice and gave colors an extra pop. Incredible Speed to Victory With IPS 1ms comparable to TN speed, providing the minimized afterimage and a fast response time, helps you to raise your winning rate. However, it's not a good choice for dark rooms because it has a low contrast ratio that makes blacks appear closer to gray. You can rotate the screen into portrait mode, but since you can only do it in the clockwise direction, the inputs are always on top. The LG 27GN850-B/27GN880-B is a slight improvement over its predecessor, the LG 27GL850-B/27GL83A-B. Enabling ClearType (top photo) helps improve the appearance of diagonal lines, such as on R, N, G, and S, but straight lines aren't as bold, as seen on the letters T and I. However, the hook for cable management feels a bit flimsy, but this may only be a problem if you're constantly removing cables from it.
